How to claim and use GASU?

The cross-chain gas infrastructure GASUtopia was officially launched on December 2 with the accompany of its universal gas token GASU.

In the BitKeep Wallet, multiple transaction scenarios are supported for using GASU to deduct the gas fee. After the deduction, the GASU balance in the Cloud Wallet will be updated simultaneously. Additionally, the gas fee consumed by users will be refunded to the Cloud Wallet, and users can freely withdraw. Holding GASU allows receiving a refunded gas fee after conducting transactions in the BitKeep Wallet.

Kindly download the latest BitKeep APP and activate your Cloud Wallet to claim GASU. The tutorial is as follows:

How to activate my Cloud Wallet?

Tap “Discover” – “Cloud Wallet” – “Activate now”, and enter the 6-digit password;

Please make sure to activate the Cloud Wallet before joining GASU-related airdrops; otherwise, you might not be able to receive rewards.

How to copy the GASU address?

On the homepage of Cloud Wallet, select “GASU” – “Deposit” – “Copy the address”, then you will be able to copy the address.

Note:

1. The address is not the same as that of your mainnet wallet. Kindly submit a GASU Cloud Wallet address or an EVM main-chain address if you are joining a GASU airdrop event. Otherwise, you might not be able to claim GASU airdrops.
2. GASU doesn’t support other functions like withdrawal or transferring to other addresses.The token of the refunded gas fee after transactions is freely available for withdrawal and transfer.

How to use GASU?

Scenario 1: GASU can be used as gas when you make a transfer with BitKeep

When “Pay gas fee with Gas” pops up on the page, you can use GASU to pay gas fee. After the deduction, the GASU balance in the Cloud Wallet will be updated simultaneously, and the gas fee consumed by users will be refunded as the mainnet token of the transaction to the Cloud Wallet.

Scenario 2: Gas fee can be deducted with GASU when you swap tokens with BitKeep

When “Pay gas fee with GasU” pops up on the Swap page, you can use GASU to deduct a gas fee for the current transaction. After the deduction, the GASU balance in the Cloud Wallet will be updated simultaneously, and the gas fee consumed by users will be refunded as mainnet token of the transaction to the Cloud Wallet.

Scenario 3: Gas fee can be deducted with GASU when you trade NFT with BitKeep NFT Marketplace

When “Pay gas fee with GasU” pops up on the NFT page, you can use GASU to deduct a gas fee for the current transaction.After the deduction, the GASU balance in the Cloud Wallet will be updated simultaneously, and the gas fee consumed by users will be refunded as the mainnet token of the transaction to the Cloud Wallet.
