To meet users’ management needs for assets with varying security levels, BitKeep has added support for the mainstream hardware wallet Keystone to serve as a non-network solution for wallet asset management. Users can import their hardware wallets quickly and safely by using the QR code or Bluetooth on the BitKeep App. In the future, we will also introduce hardware wallets such as OneKey, Ledger, and Trezor, so stay tuned.
Below is the Keystone import tutorial for BitKeep newbies:
1. Obtain the Keystone Import QR Code
Turn on your Keystone device and select [Management], followed by [Select Software Wallet] in the upper right corner. Next, select [BitKeep] to enter the network page.

2. Import Keystone Wallet into BitKeep
Tap on [My Wallet] in the upper left corner, followed by [Add a Wallet] at the bottom. Next, select [Hardware], and scan the QR code of the hardware wallet device;

Security Tip: After importing your hardware wallet into BitKeep, your mnemonic phrase and private key permissions will still be stored on the hardware device. BitKeep is only used as a tool for asset display. Your hardware device will be required for any transaction signature after the importing has been confirmed. Therefore, there is no need to worry about compromising the security of your assets after importing. Additionally, please take good care of your hardware wallet device. If the device is lost, BitKeep will not be able to help you retrieve your assets.
